In this short demonstration, Chipmind John, one of our AI Chip Design Engineers, shows the RTL Canvas in action.
An engineer removes a module by drawing a red cross directly on the existing chip architecture. John interprets the intent, updates the RTL implementation, and returns the result as an interactive visual diff for review before the change is approved.
While this example is intentionally simple, it illustrates a much broader idea.
Beyond Prompts
Hardware engineers don’t naturally think in prompts. They think in architectures, hierarchies, buses, and state machines.
We believe the next breakthrough in AI-assisted chip design won’t come from larger models alone. It will come from rethinking how engineers interact with AI.
RTL Canvas is designed to help engineering teams design, explore, and review large-scale chip designs and complex SoCs more effectively by moving the interaction from text to architecture.
